Lovers of all things power, thrash, speed, trog and just generally heavy, The Stormrider Heavy Metal Festival are back with the line-up for this year's event.

Convening at the Amplifier Bar (it's grown a little too large for the Civic Hotel this year) are monsters of prog Vanishing Point, local locos Silent Knight, thrashers Hidden Intent as well as Mason, Taberah and more.

All up the epic fest will feature eight of the nations top touring bands, four local Perth acts and four more from around the nation, playing across two stages.
