The reformed and Future Music Festival-headed The Stone Roses have this morning announced three headline shows around the country – presented by Street Press Australia.

The band, one of Britain's most influential and often the subject of optimistic reformation rumours, announced that they had bured past pettiness to reform late last year. The Manchester outfit have happily had a solid run of shows throughout the year now and will arrive in Australia with the line-up of Ian Brown, John Squire, Mani (aka Gary Mounfield) and Reni (aka Alan Wren).

For their first headline show in Australia for 17 years, UK radio legend Zane Lowe will be providing the support.

The shows will take place:

Friday 1 March – Riverstage, Brisbane Tickets
Wednesday 6 March – Hordern Pavilion, Sydney Tickets
Thursday 7 March – Festival Hall, Melbourne Tickets

Tickets are on sale Thursday 13th December.
