More Steve Aoki More Steve Aoki

Californian electro DJ and producer Steve Aoki has announced his Australian headline tour for October. The tour includes headline dates in Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and one as-yet-unannounced show and will be Aoki's first Australian gigs since 2010.

These shows come off the back of what has already been a big year for the bass-hungry Aoki. His debut album, Wonderland, features an impressive roster of collaborators including Lil Jon, LMFAO & NERVO and [[[zuper blahq]]] (a.k.a will.i.am) to Travis Barker (Blink 182) and Rivers Cuomo (Weezer).

The album showcases Aoki's signature blend of electro, house, pop and hip-hop, a sound he's already taken to some of the world's biggest stages: Belgium's Tomorrowland and Miami's Ultra Music Festival, to name a couple.

You can check out the dates below; tickets go on sale Thursday 30 August and if Aoki's past appearances at Future Music are anything to go by then these should be some damn fine shows.
