The Sydney Comedy Festival has announced its selection of comedians for the 2013 event, with household names in comedy leading the way.
Verteran UK funnyman Stephen K Amos leads the bill with his brand new show while Australia's own Jim Jefferies leads the local contingent. Jefferies has scored himself a sitcom in the US and starting to be compared to the likes of Louis CK, he's lining up to be one of Australia's next global stars. 30 Rock star Tracy Morgan will return to Australian shores alongside The Wayans Brothers (Don't Be A Menace, White Chicks).

Technically a 'soft' first announce, dates are throughout March and April next year. The annual Sydney Comedy Festival Preview Night will happen Saturday March 16 at the Factory Theatre Festival, the Gala will take place at the Sydney Opera House Monday 22 April, and the Cracker Night Tuesday 23 April across The Metro Theatre, Enmore Theatre and Seymour Centre.
