Star-studded Local Line-up To Launch RTRFM’s 40th Anniversary Celebrations

Kicking off their 40th-anniversary celebrations in style, RTRFM has unveiled its next major event in Neon Picnic, featuring members of the iconic Triffids alongside fuzz-pop legends Turnstyle Lite and more.

The all-day concert in Hyde Park – named after an event series the beloved station held in the late ‘80s and early ‘90s – will take place on April 1 from 9am – 5pm, and will look back on everything they’ve accomplished over the past four decades while celebrating fresh talent like Simone & Girlfunkle and Verge Collection, also set to perform on the day.

Alsy MacDonald, Jill Birt and Martyn P Casey have been confirmed to perform Triffids classics, while Bank Holidays come out retirement for the event.

The bill is rounded out by hip hop maestro Mathas, jazz experts Gabriel Fatin and Pete Jeavons and guitar legend Errol H Tout.
