Violent Femmes, Adalita & More Feature On New Spencer P Jones Tribute Album

Prolific guitarist and musician with such acclaimed acts as Beasts Of Bourbon, The Johnnys and many many more, the late great Spencer P Jones has been memorialised with a brand new tribute album.

All The Way With SPJ Vol 1 has been released on a special edition LP print, as well as a digital download from Bandcamp - with all the proceeds going towards music industry relief organisation Support Act.

The New Zealand-born guitarist was a staple of the Aus music landscape and leant his hand to some of the biggest bands and songs throughout the country. Perhaps most notably as the guitarist on the iconic Paul Kelly track How To Make Gravy.

Artists including US legends The Violent Femmes, Magic Dirt frontperson Adalita, Perth rockers The Drones, Aus superstar Claire Birchall and stacks more have re-recorded some classic Jones tunes for the project, which is set to continue with more volumes in the near future.
