At long last, the draft timetables for the annual Soundwave Festival are live! Posted from promoter AJ Maddah's twitter account, the timetables have spawned a slew of clash complaints with some mistakes spotted too.
It was early on that Maddah noticed New Found Glory were given an hour set as opposed to a forty minute one, something that would make set up virtually impossible. Our deepest apologies to any pop-punk fans who got excited. But there is good news for all the posi-kids out there! The clash between homegrown act Tonight Alive and Philadelphia's The Wonder Years is an issue that Maddah will fix on the pronto.
It also became very apparent that there was an omission of Mayhem from the timetable completely early on, this being one of the key things on the promoter's list of fuck-ups. On the less important side of things, we hope he can fix up the missing "The" from "Color Morale's" name. Not that we're pedantic or anything!
Even band's are hopping onto the clash-complaints with Confession's Michael Crafter tweeting:
@iamnotshouting @ChrisSoundwave fellas can we not clash with slipknot hahahahaha I fully wanna watch them.

As per tradition, there are still the unnamed local bands to come as well as another TBA band on the Faith No More day. These will possibly come concurrently the sidewave announcements soon to come.

On the topic of Sidewaves, it appears from the Maddah's twitter account that Slash and Steel Panther will be granted both Brisbane and Melbourne sidewaves as well as a Judas Priest and and Dragonforce sidewave hinted at for Melbourne. There's also a lovely three-way of Incubus, Antemasque and Le Buterchettes show in the works. Don't forget the already announced Soundgarden Sidewave however with tickets still available!
I am thinking Judas Priest + Dragonforce for the Sidewave. What say you? — AJ (@iamnotshouting) January 7, 2015
There will be more info to come, along with actual Sidewave announcements, actual timetables and actual announcements soon.
