You're in for a treat, Brisbane.
Annual neo-soul, R&B and jazz fest Soulfest have today announced three massive sideshows featuring some of the event's headliner acts in what is called 'The Brisbane Takeover'.
The shows, which will take place across three days, kick off on Tuesday, 20 October by the Queen of R&B, Mary J Blige and support act, Jill Scott.
The US singers will hit the stage at the Brisbane Convention Centre and the following night, fellow soul artist Ms Lauryn Hill will perform on the same stage.
Hill will be accompanied by special guest act and Grammy-nominated artist, Eric Benèt for the performance on Wednesday, 21 October.

Finally, hip-hop legends Black Star (made up of Mos Def and Talib Kweli) will perform at Eaton's Hill on Thursday, 22 October.
Pre-sale tickets for all of the shows will be open from 10am-10pm on Wednesday 22, July, before going on sale to the general public from 10am on Thursday, 23 July.
Special ticket packages will also be available for purchase, which will include pre-show functions, official mercandise items and a meet and greet with either Mary J Blige or Jill Scott.
