Sony Music Australia Gets Shake-up With New Appointments & Promotions

As it heads into a new financial year, Sony Music Australia has today announced a number of new appointments and staff promotions with a theme of "constant reinvention and innovation".

Among the new appointments includes Kaitlyn Pearce who joins the Sydney-based licensing division as Licensing Manager, Fenella Wagener who has commenced her new role in Melbourne as Director, Promotions & Media for Victoria and Mark Narborough who will join the company at the end of this month as Finance Director for Australia, New Zealand and Singapore.

Adding to this, Hannah Kirkpatrick has been promoted to Director, Business Development and Licensing with an increased responsibility for business development, Katie Baldwin has been promoted to Licensing Representative and Lara Couloumbis will commence her new role as Marketing Manager having started at Sony in 2017 as Content Manager.

Leah Mulholland, who first started working at Sony in 1986, will take on an increased responsibility at Sony's distribution arm The Orchard, with the new title of Label Operations & Orchard Integration Manager.

Other promotions announced today include Claire Morrissey as Promotions Manager in Queensland, Liz Mudie as Manager, Digital Advertising & Artist Management, Katrina Ross as Senior Manager, Australian Artists Marketing, Tommy Hofbauer as Director, Promotions Strategy and Bronwyn Tasker as Director, National Communications. 

Sony has confirmed it will announce more appointments when the company expands in Victoria and Queensland this year, with the Melbourne office to also move into new offices in Richmond next month, complete with a new studio.
