Check out the midweek figures!

If anyone is going to take down Ed Sheeran from the top of the ARIA Albums chart, it may as well be Slipknot.

According to midweek figures, the UK artist's No 6 Collaborations Project will be pressed to hang on to #1 for a fifth straight week thanks to Slipknot's sixth studio record, We Are Not Your Kind, which is expected to debut in the top three.

A #1 debut would see the US outfit claim their third straight top-charting Australian album, following 2014's 5: The Grey Chapter and 2008's All Hope Is Gone.

Frontman Corey Taylor sat down with us recently to talk about the new LP; check it out here.

Other album debuts this week include Bon Iver's i,i, SAFIA's Story's Start Or End (both top ten), Seeker Lover Keeper's Wild Seeds (top 15), Trippie Redd's ! (top 20) and the Palm Beach soundtrack (top 40).

The burgeoning songwriter's new track, Never Seen The Rain, is also expected to move into the top 20 after placing at #24 last week.

The only new entry this week is Katy Perry's Small Talk which is predicted to debut in the top 30.
