Guns N' Roses ProfileAfter wrapping up a near-three-year world tour late last year, Slash has revealed that Guns N' Roses intend to keep the reunion going with plans to release a brand new album.
Speaking to TVK's Rock City (via Blabbermouth) the legendary guitarist said he and bandmates, Axl Rose, Duff McKagan and Richard Fortus have already begun working on new music.
"There's material and stuff going on already for a new record," Slash said.
"It's just, with Guns N' Roses, you don't go, 'Oh, there is a plan, and it's gonna be like this,' because that's not how it works.
"So, basically, the only real answer to give is we're hoping to put a new record out, and we'll just see what happens when it happens."
Though a new album would be GNR's first since 2008's Chinese Democracy, it would also be the first to feature key members, Rose, Slash and McKagan, since 1993 cover LP The Spaghetti Incident?.
Slash wrapped up a tour of Australia earlier this month with Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators in support of their September-released record, Living The Dream.
