Including A Day On The Green shows.
In what is already one of the most anticipated Australian tours this coming summer, Scottish heavyweights Simple Minds and US new wave outfit The B-52s have announced they'll be heading to the country next February for a joint headline tour.
The two veteran acts will not only play indoor concerts in Melbourne and Sydney, but they'll also team up for a series of A Day On The Green winery shows throughout Perth, Yarra Valley, McLaren Vale, Hunter Valley and Mt Cotton.
For Simple Minds, the tour will be the band's first in four years, having released their latest LP Big Music back in 2014.
"It’s been said Simple Minds has a love affair with Australia and I think that’s true," frontman Jim Kerr said.

"It was the first country anywhere in the world to give us success and from our very first tours, we’ve always had a wonderful bond with Australian audiences. We have so many fantastic memories and can’t wait to be playing there again."
Meanwhile, The B-52s will head Down Under, having last played here for a string of A Day On The Green concerts in 2009.
The group said in a statement, "...we are just thrilled to be returning. Yes - we’ll be coming back to ‘wonder down under’ on an amazing tour with Simple Minds. Come party with us!"
