With under a month to go, festival organisers have added a bunch of heavy hitters to the lineup, joining the likes of Denzel Curry, Fontaines D.C. and more.

Wollongong’s Yours & Owls Festival is soon to be underway, but not before the announcement of an additional string of artists to be playing the festival’s stages this upcoming March.
Manchester indie Britpop outfit Courteeners will be making their Australian festival debut at Yours & Owls this year. Over the course of the last 19 years, Courteeners have released seven studio albums, their most recent being Pink Cactus Café last year. Fans can expect to hear belters like Not Nineteen Forever, Are You In Love With A Notion?’ and Bide Your Time live and direct from the Yours & Owls stages, a suitable honour given Courteeners extensive repertoire of international festival placements at Glastonbury, Reading & Leeds, Fuji Rock, and Lollapalooza. The band will continue to traverse Australia’s stages this March, taking their infectious britpop bangers to stages in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.
South London post-punk band shame will bring their shouty punk anthems to The Gong this March, having been slotted in as support for fellow Yours & Owls act Fontaines D.C. on their national ROMANCE tour this February and March. On the cusp of releasing their fourth studio album this year, prepare to get sweaty to shame’s already impressive musical scripture.
Joining these two powerhouse acts are a number of local heads who have made notable waves in the Australian music scene over the years, including alternative indie duo Armlock, Gomeroi rapper Kobie Dee, Kamilaroi & Samoan R&B act Becca Hatch, Berlin selector DJ Sugar Free, seven-piece indie rock/jazz/funk fusion band Autumn Sunset, alternative rock band Cheeky Leash, Gong-based swing, jazz and funk infused rock outfit giraffeHead, psych-rockers Lemonise, hardcore group L.O.W and alt-punk trio Sevilles.

These new additions to the lineup come in light of masked country singer Orville Peck and English rockers Wunderhorse having to pull out of the festival due to unforeseen scheduling conflicts. However, given the current state of the lineup, and with the event sitting at 85% sold, there’s no doubt this announcement will bring the festival to sold out status.
Don’t miss out on the opportunity to see these incredible acts live at Yours & Owls. Snatch those final release tickets up here.
