The Brisbane outfit have lined up eight dates through the east and south in the lead-up to Red Deer Festival
Busy Brissy outfit Shag Rock are setting off on a considerable string of shows through the nation's east and south in just over a month's time.
The band have been locked in for beloved boutique event Red Deer Festival this October for a while now, but now they'll be well and truly warmed up when it comes time for that gig, with the band kicking off their headline run — dubbed the Loosen Up tour — at Adelaide's Crown & Anchor for a licensed all-ages show on 5 August.
From there, they head to Melbourne and on to Byron Bay for a free outing at the Beach Hotel before taking on dual outings in Brisbane (one 18+, one under-18). A couple more free events follow on the Sunshine and Gold coasts, then it's off to Sydney and Canberra for the final two shows of the tour.
The sojourn comes on the heels of a busy first half of 2017 for the Qld boys, having dropped their debut full-length, Barefoot, back in February and barely paused for breath since. They've already knocked over shows around the country this year, and will spend the time between this tour and their appearance at Red Deer with their first-ever visit to the United States.
