Sex Pistols Featuring Frank Carter Announce 2025 Australian Tour

Huge news for punk music lovers in Australia and New Zealand: Sex Pistols are heading Down Under with singer Frank Carter (of The Rattlesnakes fame) this April.

The band is set to perform the classic record, Never Mind The Bollocks, in its entirety. This isn’t the first time Carter has performed with the Sex Pistols—last year, he joined forces with drummer Paul Cook, guitarist Steve Jones and bassist Glen Matlock to perform the 1977 record in full at Bush Hall, London, for charity.

When joining the band for the charity shows, Carter said: “When The Sex Pistols call, you answer. I’m very excited to be a part of it.”

Carter, a lifelong Sex Pistols fan and punk rocker himself, is a frequent visitor to Australia—he last toured Down Under with The Rattlesnakes last April. On the other hand, the British punk pioneers are returning to our shores for the first time in nearly 30 years.

The tour begins at Auckland Town Hall on Wednesday, 2 April, before heading to Christchurch Town Hall on Thursday, 3 April. After the New Zealand shows, the band will head to Australia.

Starting at Melbourne’s Festival Hall on Saturday, 5 April, the tour continues at Adelaide’s Hindley Street Music Hall on Sunday, 6 April, Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion on Tuesday, 8 April, Brisbane’s Fortitude Music Hall on Wednesday, 9 April, and concludes at Fremantle Prison on Friday, 11 April.

According to a press release, a partner pre-sale will take place on Tuesday, 21 January, from 11 am until Thursday, 23 January, at 11 am. My Live Nation members can access pre-sale tickets on Wednesday, 22 January, at 11 am before it concludes 24 hours later.
