Prepare to hear a lot more from South Australia’s underground electronic scene, with the arrival of new record label, Monotreme.
The recently launched endeavour will place a focus on collaborations, launching a joint project from Centerpoint and Featherstone, Lucid Sands, to kick things off.
“We are looking to build local relationships and help drive Adelaide creatives to success,” Monotreme said.
“Adelaide gets overlooked in a lot of ways, but we are trying to shake the tree and create a driving force within our wonderful city.
“Promoting homegrown goodness is what we are about.”
Monotreme has a number of EPs in the pipeline as well as a compilation showcasing a handful of emerging acts, the latter of which will drop at the end of the month with launch party details to follow.
