Major Australian Country Music Festival To Debut In 2021 With Huge Local Line-up

After being forced to postpone Savannah In The Round’s debut this year due to COVID-19, organisers have today unveiled a huge 2021 line-up for its inaugural event.

Taking place in the rural town of Mareeba in far North Queensland across the October Queen’s Birthday long weekend (1-3 October), next year’s event boasts a stellar first artist announcement of all-Australian talent:

John Williamson, Lee Kernaghan, Kasey Chambers, Graeme Connors, Troy Cassar-Daley, Busby Marou, The McClymonts, The Wolfe Brothers, Casey Barnes, The Buckleys, Felicity Urquhart, James Blundell, Jasmine Rae, Fanny Lumsden, Darlinghurst, Christie Lamb, Raechel Whitchurch, Jetty Road, Blake O’Connor, Camille Trail, Tony Q Band, Route 33, Murphy’s Pigs, Cameron Cusack, Pamagirri Dancers, Dee Jay Bux

“There’s never been a more important time for Australia to get behind its artists and its local communities,” Sound Australia’s James Dein said.

“Savannah In The Round was always conceived as an event to bring the Tropical North Queensland community together, as well as drive interstate tourism and shine a light on the amazing talent this country has to offer.

“COVID-19 may have caused a few setbacks along the way, but thanks to the amazing support from our artists, council members and the Queensland community, we’ve been able to get this event back on track. We couldn’t think of anywhere on earth that we’d rather be hosting the next major country music event, than Australia’s new home of country music, Tropical North Queensland.”
