How will punters organise their weekend ahead of Savannah In The Round?
We’re just days away from the 2023 edition of Savannah In The Round, which is heading to Mareeba, Cairns Hinterland from Friday, 6 October until Sunday 8.
The festival hosts an abundance of local and international country, rock, blues and folk acts, including headliner Jimmy Barnes alongside Kasey Chambers and Daryl Braithwaite. Elsewhere, Australian country music royalty Brad Cox, and The Music cover artist James Johnston. Fanny Lumsden and Casey Barnes are also representing the best of the genre in Australia.
The Black Sorrows, Beccy Cole, Adam Harvey, GANGgajang, Russell Morris, Kate Ceberano, Chocolate Starfish, American artist Alexandra Kay and more will also appear at the festival. That begs the question: how can punters organise their weekend ahead of Savannah In The Round?
Yesterday (1 October), festival organisers unveiled the site maps and timetables for the 2023 music event.
Showcasing the entrance for the 2023 Savannah In The Round festival, organisers also shared where you can find the food stalls, the Triple M Bronco Bar, Side Show Alley, beer garden, toilets, the Big Top Music Hall, merchandise stands and artist signing tents, and more. You can check out the map below.

Artists will perform in the Big Top Music Hall, Main Stage, and the Bull Bar, with tons of music curated to impress all Savannah In The Round attendees. To the surprise of some commenters, Chocolate Starfish aren’t billed as a main stage act.
The timetable and site map will feature on the Savannah In The Round app, which is coming soon. You can purchase your tickets for the 2023 event here.
“This year’s event will welcome a who’s who of the best in Australian rock, pop and country heading north for a three-day party,” Savannah In The Round Event Director James Dein commented in a statement upon announcing the first round of all-Australian artists. “Savannah In The Round is a true celebration of everything that’s great about Australia and everything that’s special about Far North Queensland, and this year’s event will be our biggest one yet.
“We’re dedicated to championing our Aussie acts and putting the spotlight on them first. But couldn’t be more excited to welcome in our international acts to the Savannah in the Round family.”
