Some fuzzy indie pop from Liam McGorry

He's best known as one of the members of Melbourne indie pop collective Saskwatch, but Liam McGorry has his own solo project out called Dorsal Fins - and the first video from the guise has just been released.

Nothing Left To Hide has a fuzzy glaze over its pop sound and the clip is more than trippy enough to match the track. The video was directed by Jason Galea of King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard.

"For this video I used feedback, compression glitches and tape degradation to combine found VHS footage and homemade paint effects," Galea said, explaining the distorted and wavy feel of the clip.

The studio-only project has seen McGorry collaborate with a bunch of local musos including Ella Thompson of The Bamboos and Jarrad Brown, who features on on Nothing Left To Hide. An EP, titled Gripless, will be out in early 2014.

McGorry will still be active with his saskwatch bandmates, who are one of the acts on the bill for new Tasmanian event A Festival Called PANAMA, which takes place in March.
