SA's Porchland Festival Unveils First Line-up Ft. Stella Donnelly, Stu Larsen & More

Fun for all ages, so bring the whole family - 'Especially your dad'.

More Stella Donnelly Stella Donnelly

Porchland — like a maxi-size version of Adelaide's Porch Sessions events — is headed to The Range (about 10 minutes from McLaren Vale) this December, and they're taking along some pretty impressive acts for the ride.

Bringing friends from around the country, the event's organisers have lined up meteorically ascendant West Australian singer-songwriter Stella Donnelly, nomadic troubadour Stu Larsen — fresh off the back of his current massive international tour — as well as Melburnian faves 30/70 and home-state heroes Bjear, and that's just for starters.

The event will also entail a sundown screening of Belong Nowhere, the new feature from surf filmographer extraordinaire Andy Manners (State Of Surf) that shines a light on the state's best wave-riders and boasts an all-South Australian soundtrack. Plus, there will be retail therapy on hand by way of the 25+-stall market bazaar.

Porchland is an all-ages, family-friendly event, so you're welcome to bring the rellies ("Especially your dad," the organisers said. "We love dads.").

It all goes down at The Range from 2pm-10pm on Saturday 2 December. Buses will be available as a transport option, with tickets to ride available for $15 via Moshtix.

Event passes themselves ($60+bf) are also available through the vendor.

Keep your eyes peeled for Porchland's second line-up announcement in the coming weeks.
