San Cisco Announce November & December National Headline Tour

Touring is still San Cisco's "favourite part of the whole being-in-a-band thing".

More San Cisco San Cisco

Australian beloved indie pop and rock outfit San Cisco announced a massive Australian tour for November and December 2023, with the trio touring supporting their latest single, Under The Light.

Groovy and chill, Under The Light, is destined to land on your indie playlists. The trio – Jordi Davieson, Josh Biondillo and Scarlett Stevens all shine as co-vocalists.

The track’s production, handled by James Ireland (Pond, Cuco) and mixed by Grammy award-winning engineer Neal H. Pogue (Steve Lacy, Tyler The Creator, Outkast) and Anthony Dolhai (Mø, Carly Rae Jepsen, Kesha), offers just the right amount of bombast to an otherwise vibey song. You can watch the music video below.

San Cisco’s upcoming tour begins with two Brisbane shows at the Kingscliff Hotel and the Princess Theatre, followed by concerts in Sydney, Gosford, Adelaide, Melbourne, Torquay and Perth. You can find all the tour dates and venues below.

“This is going to be our first proper run of shows in some time, and to be honest; we are just really excited to show off our new songs in real life! It’s our favourite part of the whole being-in-a-band thing,” San Cisco said in a press release. They’ll be joined by special guest Noah Dillon from Fremantle, who will join the band on all dates excluding Perth.

The band added, “For anyone planning on attending, please learn the words because the San Cisco choir is taking new members, and we wanna hear you sing!”

On Under The Light, Stevens described the track as “almost like a bad girl party anthem, a sweaty nightclub scenario, and regretting things the next day.”

She continued, “We thought about a club where at the end of the night, the lights come up, and the truth is revealed. It became a metaphor for having a spotlight on us as people and discovering hard truths about growing up.”

“I thought by this age I’d probably have everything sorted, but really it's just as much of a shit-fight as it’s ever been. Actually, more so!”

Under The Light is the second taste of the band’s upcoming, unnamed fifth album, following Lost Without You, which they unveiled in February.

Tickets to San Cisco’s upcoming Australian tour go on sale on Monday, 14 August, at 9 am AEST via the band’s website.
