American doom metal band Saint Vitus have announced that they will be heading south to tour Australia for the first time.

Regarded as the pioneers and icons of the genre doom metal, the band will be touring around Australia in July, joined by the likes of Agonhymn, Drowning Horse, Clagg and Looking Glass. Off the back of their European tour, Saint Vitus are bringing their latest album Lillie:F65 down under for four shows around the country. 

Tickets go on sale on Wednesday 10 April for the following venues:

Thursday 18 July – The Hi Fi, Brisbane
Friday 19 July – The Hi Fi, Sydney
Saturday 20 July – The Hi Fi, Melbourne
Sunday 21 July – The Rosemount, Perth
