It seems alt rocker Ryan Adams is a huge Taylor Swift fan — so much so, that he's recording a cover of T-Swift's wildly successful 1989 in full.

Announced in a series of Instagram posts uploaded by Adams, the 40-year-old North Carolina-based muso showcased a series of photos depicting pages of Taylor Swift lyrics, and in the captions wrote, "Taylor Swift 1989 full album cover night 1. As played by the Smiths." and "Guaranteed saddest version of Welcome to New York ever - or your tears back".

Of course, when Swift was alerted of the recordings via Twitter, she couldn't really keep her cool.
