Good Riddance and Only Crime front man Russ Rankin has announced that he will be releasing his debut solo album "Farewell Catalonia" on May 29 through Paper + Plastick Records.
Rankin recorded the album earlier this year with engineer Paul Miner at Buzzbomb Sound Labs. Rankin said the following about recording the solo album:
"Recording a solo album is completely different than recording with a band. I learned a lot about my strengths and weaknesses both as a songwriter and a guitar player. Watching these songs, which had gestated purely from myself with no collaboration, develop and grow has been an incredible experience."
