Australia’s metaphorical “brat summer” just got a whole lot better with the announcement of Melbourne’s sexiest new rave.

TRAMP will be a celebration of Queer culture and is “calling all tramps, homos, honeys, booty shakers, music makers, joy resonators” for a night of fun.

The one-night-only event, which will take place at PICA in Melbourne/Naarm on November 22nd, promises an eclectic lineup featuring Ruby Blue singer-songwriter Roísín Murphy and trap rapper Rico Nasty as headliners.

Other stars set to take the stage include English drag queen and musician Bimini, UK artist Jaguar, and Australia’s own party girl BIG WETT with The BIG WETT Absolute XXX-PERIENCE. A number of local DJs and vocal legends will take to the stage alongside the heavy hitters.

The event is the lovechild of Queer Event Organisers Summer Camp. Created in 2022, Summer Camp has survived the turbulent times of live music in Australia and continues to fight for the viability of live events amid 2024’s festival crisis.

Organisers commented in a statement, “We really hope the festival sector in Aus can recover & like our industry colleagues, we're calling on Gov support for the sector. We need you!”
