Iconic Rockers James Reyne, Baby Animals And More To Hit Newcastle Beach Fest

Best way to spend a Sunday, for sure

A brand new festival boasting homegrown rock icons has hit the sandy shores of Newcastle — and it's called Live At The Foreshore.

Held at Camp Shortland at The Foreshore on Sunday, 1 November, the line-up is led by Australian Crawl frontman James Reyne, Sydney rockers Baby Animals and Mark Seymour of the seminal Hunters & Collectors, among a carnival-style environment with food trucks, artisan markets, beer and cider halls and seabreezes a-plenty.

Also on the line-up of heritage acts are Shannon Noll, Choirboys, Moving Pictures and Monsters Of Rock, featuring members of Rose Tattoo and Screaming Jets.

The sun-bathed 18+ festival will kick off from 12.30pm and run until 8pm — and though that's early, there are dozens of bars in the area to move onto if you so wish.

Tickets go on sale on Tuesday, 14 July from 9am from here.
