Melbourne's Ribbons Patterns have announced they're officially back in action four years after the release of their debut LP.

Featuring a new lineup, the band - led by the inimitable Donnie Dureau of Blueline Medic - will head to Hobart this week to begin recording their sophomore effort with producer (and Poison City labelmate) Lincoln Le Fevre.

The album is slated for a July 2014 release through Poison City Records. Head here to stream the band's self-titled 2010 debut.
