“These records were with Biggsy for 40 years and mean the world to him."
Tony Biggs
Long-running Melbourne radio personality Tony Biggs has had thousands of records stolen from a lock-up garage in the suburb of Prahan.
The RRR icon, known for his quick wit on talkback during his three-hour On The Blower show on Fridays, has spent the better part of 40 years curating his collection, with an estimated 2,000 of his records stolen.
“These records were with Biggsy for 40 years and mean the world to him,” a statement from Triple R Melbourne read.
“It’s a long-shot we know, but if anyone hears of this sort of collection turning up, please let us know.”
