For its second year running, RATTLESHIP played host to the likes of RL GRIME, Whipped Cream, G Jones, and Culture Shock.

While raves are increasingly sought out by the average punter, the mission to create a rave experience that has the exclusivity and memorability of the scene’s original intent becomes harder to come by.
For US rave-seekers, the Bay Area is ditching the usual warehouse spots for something a little more historic.
RATTLESHIP is the next big thing in rave culture. It offers lucky attendees the chance to party on the USS Hornet, a decommissioned aircraft carrier docked in Alameda, California. The event, hosted by tastemakers Brownies & Lemonade, is in its second year and promised to be bigger and bolder than its debut in 2023.
According to the event’s post on socials, the Friday rave’s secret lineup hosted RL GRIME, G Jones, Whethan, Rossy, Nikko, and Farsight. Saturday’s rave had RL Grime again, this time going back-to-back with Vancouver DJ JUELZ. Meanwhile, Culture Shock, Whipped Cream, and LYNY are also expected to wow fans.
Last year's RATTLESHIP took place over the Independence Day long weekend, combining history with hard bass.
Over two nights, the USS Hornet hosted 4,000 ravers and featured performances by DJs such as TroyBoi and Madeon.

With a team of over 100 staff members, the decommissioned vessel was turned into an unforgettable rave venue, complete with the chance to view some of the era’s historic aircraft and artefacts via the vessel’s Sea, Air & Space Museum.
The event's creator, Noah Bennett (also known as DJ Dials), orchestrated the complex logistics. Despite the inevitable challenges, including a rickety rope bridge for equipment transport and a few fire alarm scares, the event was a massive hit, setting the stage for this year's eagerly anticipated follow-up.
As Bennett reflects, "A good party feels like you shouldn’t be there," and RATTLESHIP perfectly encapsulates this.
