Tool & Weezer Lead Mammoth Good Things Festival 2025 Line-up

Say it ain’t so… Good Things Festival returns to the East Coast this December with a line-up for all rock, emo, metal, punk, and alternative music fans led by the one and only Tool.

The progressive metal band returns for their first Australian festival headline since Big Day Out in 2011 and their first tour dates Down Under in five years. Meanwhile, Buddy Holly rockers Weezer have second billing, and Garbage make their long-awaited return to Australia for the first time in nearly a decade.

This year’s Good Things line-up is packed with international and local heroes, including pop-punk outfit All Time Low, heavy metal band Machine Head securing their first Australian festival dates in 13 years, and The All-American Rejects returning to our shores for the first time in 16 years.

Representing the heavy are Knocked Loose, Lorna Shore, and Refused – the latter are “fucking dead” and bringing their final-ever shows to Australia – Kublai Khan TX, Dayseeker, Fever 333, and Australia’s own Make Them Suffer. Pop-punk will also be kept alive by New Found Glory, Cobra Starship, Goldfinger, and a reunited Tonight Alive, who are set to rip through classics from 2013’s The Other Side.

Elsewhere, the festival has locked in Australian rock music icon James Reyne, plus additional locals CIVIC, Inertia, Yours Truly, and Windwaker. Up-and-coming international favourites such as Wargasm and High Vis will also share the stages with the likes of GWAR and Palaye Royale. Check out the line-up in its entirety below.

All dates will welcome punters over the age of 16. The fun starts at Melbourne’s Flemington Racecourse on Friday, 5 December, followed by the new venue of Sydney Showground on Saturday, 6 December, and concludes at the Brisbane Showgrounds on Sunday, 7 December.

Pre-sale tickets for the 2025 Good Things Festival will be available on Tuesday, 19 August, at 10 am AEST – you can sign up via the festival website to access the pre-sale. General sale tickets will be available on Thursday, 21 August, at 10 am AEST via Oztix.
