Sydney-based record label Rare Finds rounds up some of Brisbane's best acts to celebrate one year in the sunshine state.
It’s time to don those party hats because Sydney-based record label Rare Finds has been in Brisbane for a whole year and that's something to celebrate. The guys and girls are throwing a shindig and bringing some of Brisso’s best acts along for the ride.
It’s hard to believe that it’s already been 365 days since we welcomed our friends from the south into our Queensland lives. After leaving their mark all over the city in the last year, bringing the likes of Halcyon Drive, Dappled Cities and Saatsuma to venues all over Brisbane, Rare Finds is coming back to Black Bear Lodge on Friday 15 December for one heck of a party.
Heading up this auspicious occasion will be Brisbane mood-rock trio Morning Harvey, fresh off their whirlwind of a 2017. Joining the boys will be local quartet Born Joy Dead, who have been busy basking in the sun of their recently released sophomore EP, Throw Us In The Fire.
Rounding out this already massive line-up will be psych-dance duo Nocturnal Tapes. They’ll be wrapping up their east-coast All I Need tour in our quaint little city. Finally, to get your feet moving way into the wee hours, DJ Black Amex will be spinning tunes way into the night.
