Bossman Martin Novosel's representing the Purple Sneakers fam over in South Africa to play a huge club night with some of our friends.
Heading to Fiction nightclub on Friday, November 6, Purple Sneakers DJs will be making their South African debut at a rad event put together by our friend Das Kapital. He's been a busy guy jetting across Europe, but that hasn't stopped him at all from being productive.
He created Overtime with the help of Fiction in August of 2015 to inject some fun and substance into the Cape Town club scene and it takes place every first and third Friday of the month.
He said he had "watched clubbing become a really diluted and empty thing in Cape Town over the past 5 years, and that saddens me a lot. There's a lot of incredible musical talent in this country that doesn't get a chance to really introduce itself to the people."

Overtime brings together producers and DJs in a club environment that is synonymous with pushing boundaries. It's a no-holds-barred exploration of what's new, interesting, and fun, and most importantly, gives people the opportunity to have a great time.
Aside from creating this influential eve, Das Kapital also makes some ridiculous music.
He put an EP out a couple of months ago. Titled City Back/Callin' Dub, the EP itself is this incredible fusion of a multitude of genres. Incorporating house, garage and even acid house, it's actually really unlike anything that I've heard before. The bass is huge and the tracks are so perfectly structured, you can tell he's worked for a while on these ones.
Das Kapital is a man of many, many feats. He may be busy, but his output is certainly one of value and creativity.
