But we still hold out hope.
The rumour going around at the moment is that Angus Young will join Guns N’ Roses on stage tonight in Sydney, but, it looks like the speculation is simply that.
The talk sparked yesterday after Gunners bassist Duff McKagan revealed on Twitter that the band had a run in with the iconic AC/DC guitarist at Sydney airport, while Fernando Lebeis, who is part of the US rockers’ management team, shared a photo of flowers sent from Young which read “Welcome to Sydney”.
Told we had to stay on plane last night in Sydney; 'airport security' wanted to do a check. We waited. It was Angus Young is an orange vest!

However, after being contacted by The Music today, the promoters for Guns N’ Roses Aussie tour said they have not heard about any such collaboration going down tonight.

We don’t want to absolutely rule it out, but at this stage, it looks unlikely.
Young has already performed live with the Gunners live previously, when he joined them on stage at Coachella last year.
