And they've got a livestream event coming your way.

More Private Function More Private Function

Private Function have inked a deal with Spanish label FOLC Records

The Melbourne five-piece announced the deal this morning, seeing them join the label that has previously released music for acts like Mudhoney, The Meanies and more.

In celebration of the news, the band have released their new, self-produced video for single Sleep Paralysis, and announced that they'll be sharing a livestreamed Christmas show on Friday 18 December.

“As those who witnessed the chaos of our previous streams can attest; you’ll laugh, you’ll cry, you’ll be confused as to what you’re doing and why you’re doing it. But enough chit chat. This will be the greatest live stream performance of all time and is guaranteed to bring the entire concept of live performances, streamed or otherwise, into complete disrepute," said the band.

“Now, we know what you’re thinking. ‘Live stream? Isn’t that just what bands you wouldn’t go see anyway playing acoustic guitars in their bedroom?’ Well, with this show you’ve got the PF Guarantee of no acoustic guitars and entertainment above and beyond anything else you’ll see online."

It's been a big year for Private Function who became the first band to sign to Clowns' Damaged Records. They soon after made a huge impact on the ARIA Charts with their second album, Whose Line Is It Anyway?
