It's an engrossing, creepy tale.
Louis Spoils is the project of Melbourne-based musician Jake Rush; he released his debut EP earlier this year and enlisted a few good friends to help him out with it. He recorded it with help from Tom Glaum, had it mixed bythe great John Castle and had a whole stack of great musicians play on the record.
This track, Sleep At Night, features a couple of those well-known mates; Kane Mazlin of the now-defunct Hungry Kids Of Hungary provides harmony vocals, while Wally de Backer – known to many (and we mean many) as Gotye – is on drums.
An incredible clip has been made for the track, Rush getting his uncle Ben Hackworth to write and direct this eerie tale of a young man and a pretty bizarre living situation. Anyway, we'll let you check it out for yourself.
