The career of Tom E. Lewis has been a very varied one; he has spent most of his time as an actor, but did tour the world at one stage with the kinda folk-jazz inclined Lewis and Dunn Ensemble. His new album Beneath The Sun is a completely different proposition though, a seriously accomplished set of songs performed with a brilliant band behind him that sounds utterly timeless.
