Can U dig it?
English alternative outfit Pop Will Eat Itself have announced their first Australian shows in two decades, with a tour locked in for the end of August/early September.
The band, who were pioneers of the grebo culture and style of the '80s and '90s when they were at their peak, will play five shows in Perth, Adelaide, Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne. They will then venture over to New Zealand for a couple of shows.
The revamped line-up that will head over to our shores for these shows consists of Graham Crabb, Mary Byker, Jason Bowld, Tim Muddiman and Davey Bennett. Former frontman Clint Mansell left the outfit in the mid-'90s and has since carved out a successful career as a music composer for films.
Tickets for the tour go on sale this Friday 20 June.
