"...to feel someone lower their defences and explore that with you was like finding gold.”
Sydney-based duo PLGRMS, aka singer-songwriter Jacob Pearson and multi-instrumentalist songwriter/producer Jonathan Bowden, get intimate with their latest track, Limbs.
The new single, which is officially out today, is their second track back following a hiatus in 2019 and builds off recent cut Disappear.
It’s not surprising the new single is another stunning effort, with the duo teaming with producer Ross James (Vera Blue, EAST, Thelma Plum), aka upsidedownhead, and mixer Dan Grech (Radiohead, Lana Del Rey, Halsey), while The Preatures' Luke Davison features on drums.
“I think we've probably all met someone that acts impulsive and fearless, then fixates on maintaining that reputation,” vocalist Jake Pearson said of Limbs.
“The lyric ‘Show me who you really are’ was my first inclination towards someone who always had their walls up. But to feel someone lower their defences and explore that with you was like finding gold.”
