"Victorians have worked so hard to get here – and now it's time to enjoy it."
The line-up for the huge Play On Vic live gig has been unveiled, with a stack of local acts set to take to the stage at Sidney Myer Music Bowl, signalling the return to live music in the state.
Premier Daniel Andrews announced the news today, sharing the line-up online.

"King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, Baker Boy, Amyl and The Sniffers, Grace Cummings, and Vika & Linda are taking to the stage at the Sidney Myer Music Bowl on Saturday 30 October. And no - it's not a Zoom gig."
He continued, "It's all part of a trial to bring big events back to Melbourne safely - with more events in Gippsland, South West and Central Victoria to be announced in the coming days. Tickets are on sale from 3pm this Friday via the Ticketek website, and you'll need to be able to prove you're fully vaccinated with both doses to attend.
"Victorians have worked so hard to get here – and now it's time to enjoy it."
Baker Boy also shared his excitement, writing, "I'm so pumped to be performing at the Sidney Myer Music Bowl for Play On Vic!"
He went on, "I have just had to postpone my headline tour because of ongoing border restrictions so it feels really great to have this kind of support in Victoria! I think I'm more excited for the punters to be honest, I'm so stoked for people who have been in lockdown for so long to have a gig like this! I can't wait to break it down and party with them!"
Grace Cummings also added of the event, "After 19 long months of cancelled and postponed shows, being told to be patient, being unable to perform, I am unbelievably excited to be a part of this show. My band and I are going to bring everything we have to this, so get there early."
