PJ Harvey has announced that she will be recording her new album behind one-way mirrored glass as part of an art installation called 'Recording In Progress.'
It will take place between January 16 and February 14 at Somerset House in London during which time, people can pay £15 for 45 minutes of viewing time watching Harvey record.
The description reads:
“There will be some visitors who experience longueurs, the tuning-up of a bass guitar, the integration of a horn section. There will others there when she happens to run through a couple of songs from start to finish. It is very much a lottery.”
Mobile phones will also be banned from the sessions to prevent an early recordings getting out.
