Phoenix Manson Delivers On Cinematic Mix Series 'Natural Selections'

Phoenix Manson is a Melbourne/Naarm based DJ and music producer who is hosting his mixes a little differently.

The artist is currently travelling to some of so called Australia's most pristine National Parks to record DJ mixes in some pristine natural contexts. The result is his mix series Natural Selections, which he has just unveiled the second rendition to.

After graduating in London at Abbey Road Institute, the DJ relocated to Berlin in order to pursue his passion of DJing. What a city to move to. Since then, the Australian native has performed at venues and events including the prestigious Melbourne Music Week, The Forum Theatre and Solar Sky Lounge in Germany.

On this rendition of Natural Selections Manson taps his disco and house music taste, to provide the perfect mix for people to vibe to, relax to or even study and work to. It combines fine tastemaker worthy selections with breathtaking cinematic drone footage from the most Southern tip of Australia, the stunning sand dunes of Wilson's Prom National Park.

On the mix series, Manson stated, “The series incorporates a mix of video styles that I discovered during the lockdowns we experienced in Melbourne.

"Everything from scenic drone footage of exotic locations to the mind blowing wildlife featured in 4k nature documentaries.

"We are blessed to be able to call this beautiful land our home. These DJ mixes seem to be the best format for me to highlight and share some of these unique locations with the rest of the world.”
