Phi11a shares an exclusive look from the studio.

Aussie artist Phi11a has shared an exclusive behind the scenes look at the making of his track Witness.

The Sydney rapper dropped the song in late April and has since amassed over a million streams on Spotify.

The track was made in collaboration with US artist Trippie Redd who chats with Phi11a about its making in the clip.

"He showed me multiple songs that people wanted me to hop on but I chose yours," Redd tells Phi11a in the video.

“It’s crazy. When I originally started working on this song, I thought of either Trippie or Young Thug for the feature (if there’d be one)," Phi11a said of the track.

"So even from the start I feel like the song had his energy in it."

Witness follows Phi11a’s 2019 debut single Overdose and Sad Cowboy Shit - a four-track surprise mixtape produced by US producer, Jimmy Duval (Lil Pump, Ski Mask).
