French pop masters Phoenix have revealed they’ll be making a brief Australian rendezvous in August. The band has posted a Melbourne and Sydney show on its website, with hopefully more to come for the rest of the country.
The visit will only be a short one though, as Phoenix need to be in Japan by 7 August for the Summer Sonic festival. The dapper gents were a highlight of the 2007 inaugural V Festival down under, and a new album Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix is due very soon.
Dates are:
Monday 3 August – The Palace, Melbourne
Wednesday 5 August – Enmore Theatre, Sydney
