The hype isn't over yet.
Having smashed TV ratings and proving to be a massive hit with audiences around the country, the hype for the 2015-screened Peter Allen miniseries, Peter Allen: Not The Boy Next Door, hasn't died down yet, after the show picked up a number of nominations for this year's Logie Awards.
As TV Tonight reports, lead actor and break-out star Joel Jackson is the big winner, having picked up a nomination in the Best New Talent category, as well as already being announced as the winner for the Most Outstanding Newcomer – Actor category.
Jackson also received a nod in the same category for his work in drama miniseries, Deadline Gallipoli.
Meanwhile Ky Baldwin, who portrayed the young Peter Allen in the show, has taken out the The Graham Kennedy Breakthrough Star Of Tomorrow award for his work.

Peter Allen: Not The Boy Next Door also received a nomination in the Most Outstanding Miniseries or Telemovie category.
Elsewhere, comedian and musician Tim Minchin scored two nominations for Most Outstanding Supporting Actor for his work in No Activity and ABC's The Secret River.
