People Are Losing Their Minds Over Bonkers New Reality Show ‘The Masked Singer’

If you’ve grown tired of the same old reality singing competition shtick, then whacky new US series The Masked Singer might be for you.

The 10-episode offering, which is currently two episodes in, features 12 celebrities performing to judges Ken Jeong, Jenny McCarthy, Nicole Scherzinger and Robin Thicke while hiding their identity behind a character/mask, such as Alien, Bee, Deer and more.

After each performance, judges ask the singer questions to try determine their identity, before voting, alongside the audience, as to who will continue to the next round.

At the end of the episode, the eliminated singer takes off their mask, with American footballer Antonio Brown and Tommy Chong revealed as the Hippo and Pineapple respectively in the first two episodes.

Judges and viewers are also dip-fed clues about each contestant every week, leading to wide-spread speculation and Twitter feuds.

Anybody else think the #deer on #maskedsinger could be Esera Tuaola, the Hawaiian football player that can really sing? He was on the voice and I think he was a Steeler. That's my guess.
