Australia's first-ever electronic cruise-ship festival, Sea 'N Beats, has built on its already-impressive line-up — featuring Alison Wonderland, Hot Dub Time Machine, Hayden James and many more — with a fresh cabal of 16 A-list artists, with the way led by acts such as the world-beating Peking Duk and hip hop upstarts Allday and Tkay Maidza.

Also joining the seafaring soiree are Cyril Hahn, Wave Racer, Cosmo's Midnight, Basenji, Just A Gent, Sable, Kilter, Luke Million, The Swiss, L.K. McKay, Ego, Surahn and Mitolo, taking the total artist roster past the 30-strong mark, making for one hell of a party across multiple floating stages and the pool deck on a 2000-capacity luxury liner, not to mention the included full-day festival on a "mystery island" off sunny Queensland.

The 2016 Sea 'N Beats Festival will be held from 5-8 March, and tickets are available now. As you can imagine, they're moving pretty swiftly, with only a limited number of VIP packages up for grabs (which nab you priority service, private pool-deck and main-stage access, and an exclusive VIP area at the island event). 1. Drink Heavily RESPONSIBLY!

• Sun, water, music, good company! It’s really difficult to find a reason not to.

2. Try get photos with the DJ.

• Try a selfie from the back of the crowd, mid crowd perhaps, then right at the front. Gradually encroach on their personal space until they look at you weird. Then see if your friends can beat your best.

3. Request the same song from the DJ every ten minutes

• "Play AC/DC"

4. Try to appeal to women on an intellectual level to compensate for your lack of athletic physique.

• Self-explanatory but best done after the previous three.

5. Re-enact scenes from Titanic

• My favourite being the string quartet scene. Find three mates and go down with your ship.

6. Hug everyone with an Adidas shirt but don’t tell them why.

• Dedication to the brand, man, they deserve it. I’m not being facetious, I dig adidas. But do it.

7. Snapchat absolutely everything

• No exceptions! Leave no card unturned and no friend un-jealous, that’s right…un-jealous.

8. Try and buy the boat off of the captain even if it’s not his.

• Perhaps try telling him of your many riches and how you’re going to use it to do some Wolf of Wall Street shit.

9. Whenever you come back from the bathroom, try and convince your friends you saw a shark and it didn’t look like it was into #EDM.

• Actually, maybe don’t do this because of the whole mass panic angle….

10. Bring your Jack Sparrow costume and be the coolest mother flipper on the boat.

• I dare someone to do this. I’ll personally give them a lap dance!
