Peak Festival Launches Competition For Unsigned Artists

Wanna perform in the good ol' snowy?

Formerly the Snowy Mountains of Music festival, Peak Festival has undergone a huge revamp, both looks and feel-wise – and they're celebrating by giving unsigned acts the chance to battle it out for a foot-in-the-door of the music industry.

Peak Festival is after every unsigned artist or band to send them one song as part of Peak Upload. If they dig your tune and choose you as one of three finalists, you'll be shuttled off to Australia's only festival in the snow to play your heart out in front of music industry judges.

The winner will receive a publicity workshop, music management meetings and development opportunities, as well as the chance to be part of the killer Peak Festival set.

A little cooler than your average festival, this year Peak is featuring a massive line-up including 1970s folk-rocker Glenn Cardier, hip hop collective The Herd and the funky reggae stylings of The Chocolate Strings.

Hit up the Peak Festival website for more info.

The event takes place from Friday 6 to Monday 9 June and is presented by The Music.
