“And ah, yeah nah look, obviously just gonna take it one Community Cup at a time."
If you thought the Melbourne Reclink Community Cup 2019 music line-up was big already, waiting until you get a look at the latest editions.
Going all out for its 25th year, the Community Cup has announced Australian music legend and former Rockdogs coach Paul Kelly will join Dan Sultan for a special set at Collingwood's Victoria Park on June 23.
The announcement follows the release of the duo’s debut single together earlier this month and will see them join the likes of post-punk/retro-pop outfit RVG alongside previously confirmed acts Magic Dirt, Baker Boy, Harvey Sutherland and YSB & Lit Queens on the day.
“We are thrilled to have such talented and aspirational musicians performing at the 25th Melbourne Reclink Community Cup, what better way to celebrate and commemorate 25 years of community footy and live music than with such incredible talent?” Reclink Australia CEO John Ballis said.
Sultan added: "Yeah nah look, obviously it's really pleasing to once again be a part of arguably the most important day on the football calendar.
