More Paul Kelly More Paul Kelly

Paul Kelly will perform alongside collaborator and nephew Dan Kelly at this year's Jagermeister Independent Music Awards, run by the Australian Independent Record Labels Association [AIR].

They will perform a track from Paul's new album, which is due for release later this year.

Set to be announced today, the night will also feature performances by The Bamboos, who will enlist Tim Rogers to once again provide the vocals of their single I Got Burned as well as breakout beats duo Hermitude, alternative country and rockabilly starlet Lanie Lane, emerging Melburnites Loon Lake and new-look post-hardcore band House Vs Hurricane (in what will surely be one of the heaviest sets at an award ceremony in recent memory).

The awards will take place Tuesday 16 October at Revolt in Kensington, an arts space which the awards moved to last year in search of a more intimate vibe.

As previously announced, the awards have added a category for best label and will again host a photo exhibition, which, curated by Kane Hibberd, is currently accepting submissions.

Paul Kelly was yesterday announced for the AFL Grand Final as well. Watch him perform with Dan below.
