BluesfestGlobal folk hero Passenger reflected the frustration of some at Bluesfest as he railed against iPhone users lack of etiquette. He was also greeted with a cheer as the Day Four crowd related to I Hate's: “I hate ignorant folks who pay money to see gigs and talk through every fucking song.”
Reviewer Cameron Warner also reports that the insults continued as Tim Rogers called the Melbournians in the audience "fuckwits" before admitting he may be a tad hungover as the night before he had “drank himself a new asshole."
According to Warner, performances of the day belonged to Morcheeba ("totally captivating") and high-hatted Erykah Badu ("a set you couldn't take your eyes off").
